Tim Edins
Tim Edins is currently the Director of Bands for Hamilton ISD. Mr. Edins began his teaching career at Lamesa ISD in 1983, moving to Hamilton 3 years later, in 1986. Twice retired, Mr. Edins has returned to Hamilton ISD twice, at the invitation of administration. The Hamilton Bands have won numerous awards and honors, from Sweepstakes, to Area Marching, to performances at the State Wind Ensemble Contest/Festival on several occasions.
Over his career, Mr. Edins has served most every organization involved with Texas Music. He has been Region President with TMEA, Region Rep for TBA, State Board for UIL, and was the initial and continuing Webmaster for ATSSB for 20 years.
Mr. Edins is an active UIL judge, TMAA certified in both Concert and Marching. He and his wife, Joan, have 5 children and 5 FANTASTIC grandchildren.
